fbharjo commented on the word unmasked media
In early scholastic times, it was believed that angels (heavenly bodies without materia ) had to be given media, intermediaries, to govern and influence events in the material world.
Who performs this task for modern media?

I think your analogy works better (poetically and functionally) if we equate the modern media with the intermediaries and ask instead what are the angels.

'Person' is etymologically derived from 'mask'. Which person is it? the Third?

bilby & fbharjo: Touché.
fbharjo: First it’s angels, now it’s the masked mystery of the trinity? (Or are you lining up an Abbot and Costello routine?)

The only World Series game, I have ever attended was between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Baltimore Orioles (Oracles). Predictably, the Oracles (Orioles) )won, as Baltimore (Baltmore, as the natives call it) is more of a Lacrosse town. Brooks Robinson, the third baseman for the Orioles, hit a home run which was the only run of the game. The Dodgers got out of Dodge, but that is immaterial, as are the angels.
The only Abbot I knew at the time was Dom Aelred Graham who wrote a book with two chapters with the titles of "The importance of not being earnest" and 'Playing God or letting God play." Fate casts tales of infinitely knowable mysteries.

I figured you were setting up a joke about Engels and dialectical materialism.

fbharjo, you were there? I remember watching that game on TV.
One correction though, we natives call our town Bawlmer (the standard spelling for the native pronunciation).

Ruzuzu, that's a different diamond and a different series, but they parallel. I am currently stuck in trying to understand 12th Century dialectic materialism. The horse collar was invented in the 12th Century that led to parishes, and the 4th Lateran Council.
Rolig, I was there. It may have been Frank Robinson who homered, but Brooks made some game saving plays at third base. Thanks for the correction about the native rendition of dear Bawlmer . I have just heard it and never attempted the proper spelling.

Do the angels have yokes to haul celestial bodies across the skies?
Do they leave media trails as they plow the airways with messages?

Perhaps the angels are the source of chemtrails.

I remember a poignant part of Willa Cather's "Death Comes to the Archbishop" (and I parapraise (in the 17th Century Metaphysical poetic tradition a la Herbert)) - (as Lamy approaches Acoma) 'the action is in the sky.' When I was much younger, I would visit and listen to to the wingbeats of the hawks and raving ravens soaring along the cliffs of Enchanted Mesa near Acoma ( it will be, is, and was a natural ampitheater) until interrupted by an inbound flight from Los Angeles to Albuquerque. Those darn angels are inconvenient at times. Such is incarning gemology! Unmasked sky geometry!
